A Sander-Operator

Full-time job, 40h/week, day and night.

Position summary :

• Be able to sand massive solid components with various sanding equipments such as a widebelt sander, pneumatic drums sander, Vanagut sander, orbital sander, etc.
• Work within the requested quality standards.

Requirements :

• Secondary 5 ;
• A good knowledge of wood : grain, species, sanding line, etc. ;
• A year of experience in a similar position.

Job description :

Under the supervision of your immediate superior, you will assume the following duties and responsabilities :

• Adjusting the sanding equipements for a production;
• Sand parts following the quality standards ;
• Operate the numeric control machines;
• Inspect the product to make sure it meets the quality standards ;
• Follow the health and safety standards at work.
